The Roper Blackjack Stockman has stonewashed D2 tool steel clip, sheepsfoot and spey blades in a black sawcut G10 handle with stainless bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 4 inches.

D2 on a traditional stockman is a real departure. The pattern normally runs carbon or basic stainless, and D2 holds a working edge far longer than either, at the cost of needing to be dried after it gets wet. Sawcut G10 is textured with fine parallel grooves that copy the look of sawcut bone while staying a fiberglass laminate that will not crack, fade or move with moisture.

Three blades divide the work: the clip for general cutting, the sheepsfoot for controlled push cuts against a surface, and the spey for scraping without a point to puncture. Stonewashing leaves all three blades already textured, so use marks blend into the finish. Explore more Stockman Knives.
