The Real Steel Griffin Pro has a stonewashed 14C28N blade, a Micarta handle and a button lock, opened by thumb pull.
A button lock puts a spring-loaded plunger through the blade tang. Press the button and the blade swings free, which means the knife opens and closes with one hand and one motion, without reaching across the blade path as a liner lock demands. 14C28N is Sandvik's knife steel, chosen for a balance most stainless alloys miss: it resists rust, takes a keen edge, and sharpens back easily rather than needing diamond abrasives.
