Description

The Civivi Mini Shakan has a 2.5-inch Damascus steel drop point blade, a blue aluminum handle in a ripple pattern, an extended tang, a thumb stud and a pocket clip, closing to 3.5 inches on a button lock, with a zippered storage case.

Damascus is forge-welded from alternating layers of steel, folded repeatedly and etched so the layers show as a flowing pattern. No two blades come out the same. The ripple pattern is milled into the aluminum rather than printed on, so it gives grip as well as looks and cannot wear off.

A button lock puts a spring-loaded plunger through the blade tang, so the knife opens and closes one-handed without reaching across the blade path. At 3.5 inches closed the Mini Shakan sits in a coin pocket, which is unusual for a knife with a patterned blade and a case. Explore more Folding Knives.
