The Civivi Elementum II has a 3-inch satin Nitro-V steel drop point blade, an Ultem handle, an extended tang, a lanyard hole and a pocket clip, closing to 4 inches on a button lock, with a zippered storage case.

Ultem is the reason to look at this one. It is a high-performance amber-colored thermoplastic used in aerospace and medical equipment, translucent, extremely rigid and stable at temperatures that would soften ordinary polymers. On a knife it gives a handle that glows amber in light and weighs almost nothing, and it has become sought after among collectors for exactly that look.

Nitro-V is an American stainless made by adding nitrogen to 14C28N, raising edge retention and corrosion resistance above the base steel.
