Powerwinch Capstan 1000 Power-Assisted Rope Winch

The Powerwinch Capstan 1000 is a power-assisted rope winch built for anchoring, sailing, fishing, and hauling applications that would otherwise require heavy hand-over-hand pulling. It delivers up to 1,000 lb of pulling power with a 40 ft/min retrieval speed and accepts rope up to 3/4 in diameter. Because the capstan handles line continuously around the drum, it can work with unlimited rope length rather than being limited by a fixed spool capacity.

The included footswitch supports hands-free operation so the operator can guide and tension the line while the capstan supplies the pulling force. It is useful for retrieving anchors as well as hauling lobster, prawn, and crab pots, and the operator can reduce line tension to control retrieval speed under heavy load. Chains should not be wrapped around the capstan drum.

The housing is aluminum with a durable polyester finish, while internal shafts, fasteners, and hardware are stainless steel.
