The Powerwinch Thrust Bearing Kit holds a thrust bearing, thrust washers and springs for the 712A, 912, T2400, T4000, ST712, VS190 and AP3500 winches.

The thrust bearing takes the axial load a winch drum puts on its housing under pull, and it is a wear part rather than a permanent one. A winch that has become stiff or noisy under load is usually asking for this. Replacing it is far cheaper than replacing a winch, and it restores the smooth pull rather than working around a rough one.

Washers and springs are included alongside the bearing, since those wear at the same rate and replacing the bearing alone leaves the job half done.
