Performance Metals Yamaha 300-425HP Aluminum Anode Kit

The Performance Metals Yamaha 300-425 hp Complete Anode Kit fits the larger Yamaha 4-stroke outboards. It includes the main anodes and hardware. Big outboards that stay in the water need their anodes checked regularly.

Performance Metals makes its Navalloy aluminum anodes to military specification MIL-DTL-24779, and they work in salt, brackish and fresh water. An anode is a sacrificial metal that corrodes in place of your drive, propeller and other underwater metal. Aluminum anodes protect in salt, brackish and fresh water, and they deliver more protection per pound than zinc.

It includes 00357A (Yamaha 6AW-45251-00) and 00358A (Yamaha 6AW-45373-00). Stick with one anode metal on a given drive or hull instead of mixing zinc and aluminum. Other kits and individual anodes are in our marine anodes section.
