Performance Metals Bravo 1 Aluminum Complete Anode Kit

The Performance Metals Bravo 1 Complete Anode Kit has all the anodes and hardware for a MerCruiser Bravo 1 outdrive. It replaces Mercury kit 888758Q 1. Replacing the full set together keeps protection even across the drive.

Performance Metals makes its Navalloy aluminum anodes to military specification MIL-DTL-24779, and they work in salt, brackish and fresh water. Each one has Performance Metals' patented red spot wear indicator, which shows at a glance when it's time for a replacement. Aluminum anodes protect in salt, brackish and fresh water, and they deliver more protection per pound than zinc.

The kit includes 00046A (821630), two 00047A (806190), 00048A (806188) and 00049A (762145), with Mercury numbers in parentheses. Replace anodes when they're about half consumed, and never paint them, because paint stops them from working.
