The Performance Metals Volvo Penta 290 Duo Prop Complete Anode Kit fits the 290 duo prop outdrive. It contains the anodes needed to protect the drive. Duo prop drives have more exposed metal, so keeping the anodes fresh matters.

Performance Metals makes its Navalloy aluminum anodes to military specification MIL-DTL-24779, and they work in salt, brackish and fresh water. Each one has Performance Metals' patented red spot wear indicator, which shows at a glance when it's time for a replacement. Aluminum anodes protect in salt, brackish and fresh water, and they deliver more protection per pound than zinc.

It includes 00112A (Volvo 852835) and 00116A (Volvo 875821) with mounting hardware and instructions. Stick with one anode metal on a given drive or hull instead of mixing zinc and aluminum. Other kits and individual anodes are in our marine anodes section.
