Performance Metals Volvo Penta SX DP-SM Anode Kit

The Performance Metals Volvo Penta SX/DP-SM Complete Anode Kit is for SX and DP-SM outdrives. It contains the drive's main anodes. Replacing both at once keeps protection balanced.

Performance Metals makes its Navalloy aluminum anodes to military specification MIL-DTL-24779, and they work in salt, brackish and fresh water. Each one has Performance Metals' patented red spot wear indicator, which shows at a glance when it's time for a replacement. Aluminum anodes protect in salt, brackish and fresh water, and they deliver more protection per pound than zinc.

It includes 00117A (Volvo 3854130) and 00162A (Volvo 3855411), mounting hardware and instructions. Clean the mounting surface to bare metal before installing so the anode makes good electrical contact.
