Description

The Pacer 10/2 AWG Round Safety Duplex Cable is a 500-foot spool with red and yellow Type III finely stranded tinned copper conductors.

A round jacket bends in any direction, where a flat cable resists bending across its width. That matters inside small conduits and tight chases, where a run has to change direction more than once. Flat cable can be forced but it kinks rather than curving.

Type III fine stranding is what gives the cable its flexibility at 10 gauge, and Pacer uses it throughout the range. Coarser stranding at the same gauge is stiffer and harder to route, though electrically identical.

Red and yellow follows ABYC safety coding for DC positive and negative. Color-coded PVC insulation and the outer jacket tolerate frequent vibration and flexing, and 500 feet suits a full rewire rather than adding circuits. Explore more duplex and triplex cable.
