Description

The Pacer Red/Black 14/2 AWG Round Duplex Cable is a 250-foot spool with a talcum-coated jacket extruded around the conductors.

Filling the voids during extrusion is what stops moisture moving inside the jacket from a cut end. A cable whose jacket merely surrounds loose conductors has channels running its whole length, and water entering at a termination works its way along them rather than stopping there.

A talcum coating between the conductors and the jacket makes the jacket strip cleanly without nicking the insulation beneath. That is the other half of a good termination: a clean strip and a filled jacket both contribute to a joint that lasts.

The round profile bends in multiple directions, suiting tight hull spaces and chases where a run changes direction more than once. Finely stranded Type III tinned copper gives corrosion resistance and flexibility, and 250 feet suits a refit rather than a single circuit. Explore more duplex and triplex cable.

  • Jacket fills the voids during extrusion
  • Otherwise moisture travels from a cut end
  • Talcum coating strips cleanly without nicking
  • Round bends in multiple directions
