Ontario 12 Inch Nylon Machete or Knife Sheath

The Ontario Machete Sheath is black lightweight nylon, fitting most machetes with blades up to 12 inches.

A machete without a sheath is awkward to carry and dangerous to store, and most machetes ship without one. That is what this exists to fix. Nylon rather than leather is the right choice here, since a machete lives in wet brush and a leather sheath left damp will rot and mark the blade.

It fits most 12 inch machetes rather than one particular model, so it suits a blade bought second-hand or one whose original sheath is long gone. Lightweight nylon keeps the weight in the tool rather than in what holds it, and the material dries out rather than staying damp against the steel. Explore more knife accessories.
