The Norton 8 Inch India Combination Bench Sharpening Stone measures 1 in x 2 in x 8 in and combines fine and coarse sharpening surfaces in a full-size bench format. Norton uses its India Alundum aluminum-oxide formulation, giving the stone a longer working surface for steady strokes on knives and edged tools.

Norton's India formulation is built to cut somewhat more slowly than Crystolon while producing a finer finished edge. The 8 in length gives larger blades more room to travel across the stone, while the two-sided construction keeps coarse and fine work together in one bench stone. It is made in Mexico.
