Smith's Sharpeners Diamond Combo Bench Stone

The Smith's Sharpeners Diamond Combo Bench Stone puts coarse and fine diamond stones in one compact tool, with the stones stored inside the handle. Each stone is coated with multiple layers of micron-sized monocrystalline diamonds. Diamond cuts fast and works on hard steels, tools and carbide that wear down ordinary stones.

The surface has an overlapping oval hole pattern that catches and holds the metal filings that normally build up while you sharpen. That keeps the diamond surface cutting instead of clogging. Use the coarse side to reshape a dull edge, then switch to the fine side to refine it.

Each stone also has a micro-tool sharpening pad and a groove for fish hooks and pointed tools. The stones store inside the handle between uses, so the whole kit fits in a tackle box, glove box or pack. Its small size makes it easy to touch up a knife in the field or at the cleaning table.
