The Nitecore MT2C Pro is a 4.63-inch light on a NiteLab UHi 20 LED, reaching 1,800 lumens and 520 meters of throw.

Five hundred and twenty meters is a long reach for a light of this size, and it comes from the optical system rather than the emitter alone. Crystal coating with Precision Digital Optics shapes the beam tightly enough that the output arrives where it is aimed rather than spreading on the way.

A 3,600mAh 18650 battery is included with a built-in USB-C port for charging. That is the useful arrangement: charge the cell directly, or substitute two CR123 primaries when a charged cell is not available. A rechargeable-only light is a dead light once the battery is flat and no power is nearby.

High gives 1,800 lumens for 2 hours 15, and the 50-lumen Low runs as much as 28 hours. Two levels on a single tail switch keeps operation direct rather than cycling through modes. Explore more handheld flashlights.
