The Nitecore EDC35 is a tactical EDC light on a NiteLab UHi 40 MAX LED, with 5,000 lumens in LUMIN SHIELD and 3,000 in SEARCH.
An orange-peel reflector is what gives this both reach and usable spill. A smooth reflector throws a tight hotspot with a hard edge and little around it. The textured surface softens that edge, so the beam reaches out while still lighting what is beside it.
Rapid Lock gives half-lockout and full-lockout rather than a single locked state. Half-lockout allows low output while preventing an accidental Turbo in a pocket, which is the failure that empties a battery and scorches a lining.
High gives 1,300 lumens for about 4 hours 45, Mid 300 for 9 hours 15. A tail switch keeps activation at the rear, and power indicators show remaining battery state. Explore more handheld flashlights.
