The Nitecore MH12 V2 is a 6.25-inch rechargeable flashlight with a CREE XP-L2 V6 LED, giving 1,200 lumens and about 202 meters of throw.
Two hundred meters of throw comes from a single emitter behind a focusing reflector. That is the trade against the multi-emitter floods: less total output, but the light goes somewhere. Identifying something at the far end of a field needs reach rather than lumens.
The runtime spread is unusually wide, from 1,200 lumens for 3 hours 45 down to 1 lumen for a very long time. That Ultra Low mode is the one that matters in an emergency, where a light that runs for days at a usable minimum beats one that is bright for an evening.
