The Newmar PT-14W Phase Three is a 12V charger with three isolated output banks, an ammeter and polyurethane-coated circuitry.

Polyurethane coating on the internal circuitry is the marinization that matters most in this range. It seals the board against the salt-laden air that corrodes electronics slowly in any marine compartment. An uncoated board in the same position fails after a few seasons rather than immediately.

Three isolated output banks charge several batteries independently from one unit, with the ammeter showing total charger output. This sits between the 7A and 25A models, suiting a mid-size installation where three banks need maintaining rather than rapid recovery.

It can serve as a regulated DC power supply for onboard loads as well as a charger. A selector switch sets profiles for flooded lead-acid, AGM and gel, with an optional temperature sensor, current limiting, thermal protection and forced-air cooling in a stainless-steel enclosure.
