Mastervolt ChargeMaster Plus 24/20-3 Charger

The Mastervolt ChargeMaster Plus 24/20-3 is a 24V 20A three-bank charger with auto-ranging AC input and MasterBus connectivity.

Twenty-four volts is the specification to confirm first. This will not serve a 12V system, and the 12V ChargeMaster Plus models will not serve a 24V one whatever the amperage. Larger vessels, thruster installations and semi-professional boats commonly run 24V, which is where this belongs.

The 3-Step Plus process gives automatic multi-stage management across a wide chemistry range including lithium-ion and deeply discharged banks. Auto-ranging AC input works from shore supplies worldwide without manual voltage selection, and power-factor regulation makes better use of limited generator capacity.

The illuminated panel shows charging current, voltage, phase, battery condition and MasterBus status with controls alongside for local operation. Three outputs charge separate banks at once, DC power-supply mode keeps loads running with no batteries connected, and MasterBus allows monitoring and control as part of a larger system.
