Description

The Marbles Stacked Leather Hunter has a 7-inch satin stainless clip point blade at 11.5 inches overall, a stacked leather handle, a brass guard and pommel, and a brown leather belt sheath.

Stacked leather is washers of leather threaded onto the tang and compressed, then shaped. It warms in the hand, grips when damp, and wears in over decades rather than cracking the way a solid material eventually does. Brass at both ends holds the stack in compression, and brass darkens with handling rather than staying bright, so the whole handle ages together.

At 7 inches the blade is long for a hunting knife, past general field dressing and into camp and butchery work. Stainless keeps upkeep low on a knife used around wet game, where a carbon blade would need drying after every session. Explore more Hunting Knives.

    Love it, great purchase

I received my item today. It was just what I was looking for to finish off a collection of hunting sets like what would have been around in the 1920s. The blade is hefty and I love leather handled knives. The knife is brand new and worth what I paid for it. This company has been around a long time and I will continue its usage and name with family.
