The Marbles Pocket Compass is a 1 inch brass compass with a revolving black face, a luminous dial and a lanyard attachment.
The revolving face is what separates this from a fixed-dial compass. Turning the bezel sets a bearing, so a heading can be held without doing arithmetic every time the needle is checked. The luminous dial keeps it readable at dusk and in heavy cover without a light.
