The Magpul MBUS Gen 2 Front Sight in OD Green is the Gen 2 MBUS front in a green color for OD rifle builds. It weighs about 1.2 ounces with hardware. It flips up from either side or from the top.
The spring and detent hold it upright during use but let it fold if it is struck, which protects the sight and the rail. Elevation clicks are about 1.6 MOA on a carbine sight radius and about 1.2 MOA on a rifle-length radius. It works with a standard A2 front sight post. It is made of color-molded polymer that will not show wear like a painted part.
Mount it at the front of the handguard rail, and check that it clears any light or laser mounted nearby. An OD Green Gen 2 rear sight makes a matching pair. Shop rear sights and optics in our optics and rangefinders.
