The Magpul MBUS Gen 2 Rear Sight in black is a flip-up polymer rear sight with two apertures in the same plane. Because both apertures sit in the same plane, switching between them does not shift your zero. Protective wings around the apertures shield them from damage.
Windage adjusts with a detent knob, at about 0.7 MOA per click with a 14.5-inch sight radius and 0.5 MOA with a 20-inch radius. The sight weighs about 1.3 ounces with hardware and stands about 0.51 inch tall folded. The aperture center sits 1.42 inches above the rail, matching standard A2 sights. It deploys from either side or the top.
It mounts to Picatinny or STANAG 4694 rails and is made in the USA. The sight can be folded with either aperture facing up. The black MBUS Gen 2 front is in our optics and rangefinders.
