Magpul Hunter 700 FDE Remington 700 Short Action Stock

The Magpul Hunter 700 Stock in Flat Dark Earth gives a Remington 700 short-action rifle an adjustable, bedded stock in a tan color. FDE is a popular hunting color that blends with field gear and pairs with tan scopes and rings. Many owners use this stock to update an older 700 without paying for a custom stock and bedding job.

The aluminum V-block centers the action every time it is installed, which helps the rifle return to zero after cleaning. Spacers in 0.50-inch steps take length of pull from about 13 to 15 inches, so the rifle can fit a young hunter or be lengthened for winter clothing. Interchangeable cheek risers let you line your eye up with the scope, whether it sits in low or high rings. The rubber recoil pad takes the edge off magnum and heavier hunting loads.

The forend has M-LOK slots for a bipod or sling mount, and the barrel channel clears profiles up to Medium Palma. Hinged-floorplate rifles drop right in, while ADL rifles need hinged bottom metal or Magpul's magazine well. Plan to check action screw length when you install it. After installing, slide a strip of paper between the barrel and forend to confirm the barrel floats freely. Shop Remington 700 upgrades in our gun parts and accessories.
