The Magpul Hunter 700 Stock in black is a drop-in replacement stock for Remington 700 short-action rifles. It is reinforced polymer molded around a Type III hard-anodized A380 cast aluminum V-bedding block. The action sits directly on the aluminum block, so no glass bedding is needed for a solid, repeatable fit.
Length of pull adjusts from about 13 to 15 inches with the included 0.50-inch spacers. A 0.25-inch cheek riser comes installed, and optional 0.50 and 0.75-inch risers raise the comb for taller scope mounts. The grip sits at 60 degrees from the bore, and a rubber recoil pad finishes the butt.
M-LOK slots on the sides and bottom of the forend take bipods, lights, and sling mounts, and the barrel channel free-floats factory Remington barrels and profiles up to Medium Palma. It fits right-hand receivers with factory hinged floorplates, or you can add Magpul's Bolt Action Magazine Well for AICS-pattern detachable magazines. Blind-magazine ADL rifles need hinged bottom metal or the magazine well, and factory action screws may need trimming or replacing. It is not compatible with Remington 700 DM rifles that use proprietary detachable magazines. Black suits most hunting and range rifles.
