Magpul Hunter 700L Black Remington 700 Long Action Stock

The Magpul Hunter 700L Stock in black is the long-action version of the Hunter 700, made for Remington 700 long-action rifles. Long actions cover cartridges like .30-06, .270 Winchester, and .300 Win Mag, and this stock is sized for those receivers. It weighs about 3 pounds.

A Type III hardcoat-anodized A380 cast aluminum V-bedding block holds the action, so no bedding is required. Length of pull adjusts from about 13 to 15 inches with spacers, and the stock ships with a 0.25-inch cheek riser installed. Optional 0.50 and 0.75-inch risers raise the comb for larger scopes, and the grip sits at 60 degrees from the bore. The rubber recoil pad helps with the stouter recoil of long-action cartridges.

The barrel channel takes factory Remington barrels and aftermarket profiles up to Medium Palma, about 0.920 inch at 5.5 inches from the breech. It fits right-hand receivers only and works with standard hinged floorplates or Magpul's Bolt Action Magazine Well for AICS-pattern magazines. It is not compatible with 700 DM models, and factory action screws may need to be shortened or replaced. Short-action and long-action stocks do not interchange. Sling mounts are sold separately, and Magpul's sling mount kit attaches to the M-LOK slots. The black finish works with any scope or mount.
