Magpul Hunter 700L FDE Remington 700 Long Action Stock

The Magpul Hunter 700L Stock in Flat Dark Earth fits Remington 700 long-action rifles and gives them a tan, adjustable stock. It is a common upgrade for elk and deer rifles chambered in .30-06, .270, and magnum cartridges. The cast aluminum bedding block means you do not need a gunsmith to bed the action. The stock weighs roughly 3 pounds before the action goes in.

M-LOK slots on the forend sides and bottom take a bipod, a sling mount, or a light. Length of pull spacers let you shorten the rifle for a smaller shooter or lengthen it for a tall one. The cheek riser system raises the comb so your eye lines up with the scope. Length of pull adjusts from about 13 to 15 inches, and a 0.25-inch riser comes installed. The grip sits at 60 degrees from the bore for a more natural wrist angle.

With Magpul's Bolt Action Magazine Well, the rifle can run AICS-pattern detachable magazines. ADL rifles with a blind magazine need either factory hinged bottom metal or the magazine well. Check the length of your action screws during installation, since factory screws vary. The barrel channel takes profiles up to Medium Palma, about 0.920 inch, and free-floats factory barrels.
