Magpul Hunter 700 ODG Remington 700 Short Action Stock

Built for Remington 700 short-action rifles, the Magpul Hunter 700 Stock in OD Green pairs a reinforced polymer shell with a hard-anodized cast aluminum V-bedding block. It installs as a true drop-in with no bedding. The block gives the action a solid, repeatable seat. It is a straightforward upgrade for a Remington 700 that still wears its original factory stock.

OD Green suits woodland hunting rifles and pairs well with green scopes and slings. The 60-degree grip angle is more vertical than many traditional sporter stocks, which helps with trigger control. A rubber recoil pad cushions heavier calibers. M-LOK slots on the sides and bottom of the forend accept a bipod, light, or sling mount. The barrel channel free-floats factory barrels and profiles up to Medium Palma.

Length of pull adjusts from about 13 to 15 inches with included spacers, and a 0.25-inch cheek riser comes installed. It fits right-hand short actions with hinged floorplates, and Magpul's Bolt Action Magazine Well converts it to AICS-pattern magazines. Sling mounts are not included, but Magpul's sling mount kit fits the M-LOK forend. Rifles with a blind magazine need hinged bottom metal or the magazine well. Factory action screws vary, so check their length during installation. Find sling mounts and magazine wells in our gun parts and accessories.
