Lectrotab XKA 9 x 24 Aluminum Alloy Trim Tab

The Lectrotab XKA 9 x 24 Aluminum Alloy Trim Tab is built as a corrosion-conscious trim solution for aluminum boats and other compatible hulls. Its marine-grade 6005-T5 aluminum tabs are protected with an epoxy coating. The no-break polypropylene hinge is designed to flex through repeated tab movement without the corrosion concerns of a conventional metal hinge.

Precision electric actuators handle tab movement without a hydraulic pump or hydraulic fluid. The actuator assemblies are permanently sealed in non-metallic housings, and each unit is load tested to push 1,000 lb of force. Internal pressure equalization and a built-in brake support accurate positioning while helping prevent unwanted movement when the boat is running or backing down.

This 9 x 24 in configuration is recommended for boats approximately 24 to 37 ft long. The actuators provide a 2.25 in stroke, use 23 ft cables, and can be installed with standard or low-profile transom mounting brackets. Two tabs, two actuators, and an instruction manual are included; the control switch must be supplied separately.
