Description
The Ka-Bar Dozier Folding Hunter has a 3-inch AUS-8A blade in a matte finish with a foliage green Zytel handle, at 7.25 inches overall.
Bob Dozier is an Arkansas maker known for hunting knives with thin, high-performing grinds, and his name sits on a folder meant to cut rather than pry. AUS-8A is a Japanese stainless that takes a keen edge easily and resists rust well, sharpening back on any stone rather than needing diamond abrasives.
Zytel is a glass-reinforced nylon that keeps the knife very light and resists moisture, which suits a hunting folder in a pocket all day. Foliage green is a muted tone that disappears against brush, unlike the orange used on knives meant to be found again. Explore more Lockback Knives.
