Jabsco Par-Max 3 12V 3-GPM 40-PSI Water Pump

The Jabsco Par-Max 3 12V Water Pump (part 31395-4012-3A) delivers about 3 gallons per minute and shuts off at 40 psi. It is a compact freshwater pressure pump for boats with a few outlets, such as a galley sink, a head sink, and a small shower. Jabsco also uses the Par-Max 3 as the remote rinse pump on some of its electric toilets.

A built-in pressure switch turns the pump on when a tap opens and off when it closes. The diaphragm design self-primes, so it can be mounted above the tank. Its smaller footprint fits tight spaces where an HD pump would not.

Install a strainer on the inlet side to keep tank debris out of the valves. An accumulator tank on the outlet side reduces short cycling and smooths flow. Drain and protect the pump from freezing when the boat is laid up. Larger HD models are in our fresh water and washdown pumps.
