Jabsco Par-Max HD6 12V 6-GPM 40-PSI Water Pump

The Jabsco Par-Max HD6 12V Water Pump (part P601J-215S-3A) is the highest-flow Par-Max, moving about 6 gallons per minute with a 40 psi shutoff. It is built for large boats with many outlets and long plumbing runs. High flow helps keep pressure up at the far end of the boat when several fixtures are open.

Because the 40 psi setting is moderate, it is a good fit for boats with older plumbing that still need plenty of volume. The heavy duty motor and cast aluminum housing handle long run times. Its bypass module smooths flow and reduces cycling at low demand.

A pump this size draws more current, so check the wire gauge and fuse rating before installing it in place of a smaller pump. Mount it on its vibration-dampening feet on a solid surface. Fit an inlet strainer large enough for the higher flow. The 60 psi HD6 and 24V versions are in our fresh water and washdown pumps.
