Jabsco Long Macerator Pump Housing Kit for 18690

The Jabsco Long Macerator Pump Housing Kit is a replacement housing for Jabsco macerator pumps. It fits both the 18590 series 12V and 24V DC macerators and the 18690 series 115V AC macerator. Since it fits both series, it makes a good spare for a boat with either pump.

Replace the housing if it is cracked, worn inside, or leaking at the joints. That can happen after years of use or when something hard gets into the macerator. Check the series number on your pump before ordering. A worn or cracked housing lets waste slip past the impeller, so the pump runs longer to empty the tank and works harder than it should. Replacing the housing restores the close fit the impeller needs, and it costs far less than buying a complete new macerator.

Empty and flush the holding tank and disconnect power before starting. While the pump is apart, check the impeller and cutter blade, replace worn gaskets, and run water through the pump to check every joint for leaks.
