Jabsco 24V Self-Priming Sealed Marine Macerator Pump

The Jabsco 24V Self-Priming Sealed Macerator Pump grinds holding tank waste and pumps it out on boats with a 24V electrical system. It moves about 12 GPM through a 1-1/2-inch inlet and a 1-inch hose barb outlet, and it self-primes up to 5 feet. The motor is a fully enclosed permanent magnet type and meets ISO 8846 ignition protection.

A sealed macerator is the standard way to empty a holding tank offshore where discharge is legal. It can run dry without damage if the tank empties before you switch it off. It draws up to 8 amps at 24V, and Jabsco recommends a 15-amp fuse.

Mount it close to the tank and below its outlet if possible, and flush it with fresh water after use. Check local discharge rules before plumbing it overboard, and use a pump-out station where discharge is not allowed. The 12V version is in our marine toilets and sanitation systems.
