Jabsco 24V Low Pressure Cyclone Centrifugal Pump

The Jabsco 24V Low Pressure Cyclone Centrifugal Pump (part 50840-0024) is the 24-volt version of the stainless Cyclone circulation pump. It suits larger boats and commercial vessels running 24V systems that need steady water flow for wells, cooling, or general transfer. The higher system voltage also means lower current draw for the same work, so smaller wire can often be used.

A stainless pump body and mechanical seal protect the DC motor from water, and the impeller is designed to pass small debris without jamming. Because it is a low pressure, high volume pump, it is not a replacement for a pressure-switch freshwater pump. Use it where water just needs to keep moving.

Mount it below the water level it draws from, since centrifugal pumps cannot lift water to prime themselves. Leave room to get at the pump head, because seal and impeller service is quick when it is reachable. If it runs but moves little water, look for an air lock or a clogged intake screen.
