Jabsco 17-Inch Deluxe Flush 12V Raw Water Electric Toilet

The Jabsco Deluxe Flush 17-Inch 12V Raw Water Electric Toilet (part 58240-3012) gives a household-height, straight-back head that rinses with sea, lake, or river water. Raw water rinsing saves the freshwater tank for drinking, cooking, and showers. That is a real advantage on boats with small tanks or crews that spend several days away from the dock.

Instead of a solenoid valve, this version uses a remote-mounted rinse pump that draws water through a seacock. The macerating discharge pump has a large bore to resist clogging and grinds waste before it moves to the holding tank. The bowl is vitreous china for a clean, home-like finish.

Install a strainer on the raw water intake and a vented loop where the toilet sits near or below the waterline. The control pad lets you choose between dry bowl and wet bowl modes, which is handy when the boat is moving. Flushing raw water through a holding tank can cause odor, so periodic freshwater flushing helps. Freshwater versions are also in our marine toilets and sanitation systems.
