Jabsco Deluxe Flush 17-In Angled Back Raw Water Toilet

The Jabsco Deluxe Flush 17-Inch Angled Back Raw Water Toilet (part 58220-3012) combines household height, an angled back for sloped bulkheads, and raw water rinsing. Raw water rinsing draws from outside the hull, so it does not use any of the freshwater tank. It suits cruising boats with limited tank capacity and a sloped wall behind the head. At about 17-1/2 inches tall, the seat sits at the same height as most toilets at home.

A remote-mounted rinse pump supplies bowl water, and a large-bore macerator pump handles the discharge. The bowl is vitreous china, which holds up to cleaning far better than plastic. Dry-bowl and wet-bowl modes can be set from the control pad.

Install a raw water strainer on the rinse intake to keep weed and shell bits out of the pump. Route the discharge through a vented loop and into the holding tank as required by local rules. Fuse the 12V circuit at 25 amps and use marine-grade wire. Seawater left in a holding tank can smell, so a periodic freshwater flush of the system helps keep the head pleasant. Freshwater and straight-back versions are in our marine toilets and sanitation systems.
