Jabsco 12V Commercial Duty Water Puppy Pump

The Jabsco 12V Commercial Duty Water Puppy is the heavier-duty version of the Water Puppy, with a larger motor and a bronze pump head that is easy to service. It moves about 8.4 GPM at 10 feet of head and draws 11.5 amps. The nitrile impeller resists oil, and the pump self-primes dry to 6 feet and wet to 20 feet.

It handles bilge and sump pumping, livewell circulation, and washdown. For intermittent jobs the motor can be reversed, so many owners use it to fill a livewell and then empty it at the dock. That bronze head and reversible motor make it a common choice for commercial and charter boats that run their pumps hard every day.

Ports are 1/2-inch female pipe thread and also take 1-inch hose over the outside, and a 3/4-inch garden hose adapter is included. Inspect the impeller at the start of each season and keep a spare aboard. A 24V version is also in our bilge and water pumps.
