Icom IP-M60 Hybrid LTE Plus Marine VHF Radio

The Icom IP-M60 is a hybrid handheld that runs marine VHF and cellular LTE communication in the same device, giving a crew a way to stay in touch offshore on VHF and switch to a phone-style call over the cellular network once back in coverage, without carrying two separate radios.

In Cellular mode, Simultaneous TalkListen gives full-duplex communication, so a conversation runs just like a normal phone call instead of the usual push-to-talk exchange. In Marine mode, it operates as a standard handheld VHF with the same core performance as Icom's IC-M25. A combined Cellular + Marine mode can run both at once, with a dedicated PTT button for each, and several sub-modes let the radio automatically hand off between the two based on which one receives a call or where the boat is when it crosses a preprogrammed marine zone.

Built-in Bluetooth connects to an optional wireless headset with VOX for hands-free use, and a 1500mW speaker keeps audio clear over engine and wind noise. The IP-M60 is tested to MIL-STD-810 and rated IP67 for dust and water, with Icom's AquaQuake function clearing the speaker grille if it gets wet, and an Emergency button sends an alert with location to a predefined destination, which can also be triggered automatically through Man Down, Lone Worker, or motion-sensing functions.
