Icom IC-M73 Plus 6W Handheld VHF Radio with Noise Cancel

The Icom IC-M73 Plus 6W Handheld VHF Radio with Noise Cancel adds active noise canceling, bass boost and voice recording to the M73. Noise canceling removes background noise so you hear conversations clearly over wind and engines. Last call recording saves the last incoming call for one minute, and you can also start recording manually.

It puts out 6 watts and is IPX8 submersible. A BTL amplifier doubles the audio output, so the internal speaker delivers a loud 700 mW. The large, high-intensity LCD shows bright characters that are easy to read.

An optional VOX headset and adapter let whoever is handling dock lines keep both hands free while talking to the captain. The 2000 mAh lithium-ion battery runs up to 16 hours, and AquaQuake, Dual and Tri-Watch, favorite channels and auto power save are built in. The standard M73 and other models are in our handheld VHF radios section.
