Icom IC-M73 6W Submersible Handheld VHF Radio

The Icom IC-M73 6W Submersible Handheld VHF Radio is built for commercial mariners and anyone who knows Icom's popular M72 handheld. It puts out 6 watts and is IPX8 submersible to 1.5 m for 30 minutes. The slim hourglass body and side grips make it easy to use with one hand.

A loud 700 mW speaker stays audible over engine and wind noise, and AquaQuake drains water from the speaker grille. Large directional buttons give fast access to menus, and the wide-angle LCD is easy to read. Dual and Tri-Watch monitor Channel 16 and the call channel while you work another channel.

Battery life runs about 18 hours, and a 4-level indicator shows how much is left. The radio meets MIL-STD 810 and works with most M72 accessories. The box includes a BP245N battery, BC210 rapid charger, BC123SA AC adapter, CP25H cigarette lighter cable, MB103 belt clip, FAS64V antenna and hand strap.
