Icom IC-M510 EVO Fixed VHF with AIS & NMEA

The Icom IC-M510 EVO is a full-featured fixed-mount VHF built around a wide-viewing-angle color TFT display, in a design that won an iF Design Award in 2022 and looks at home on a modern glass-dash helm. Built-in NMEA 2000 connectivity ties it into a chartplotter or MFD, sharing GPS position, AIS data, DSC calls, and channel information across the boat's network.

A built-in AIS receiver plots real-time vessel traffic right on the M510 EVO's own screen, and an individual DSC call can be placed directly against a selected AIS target without leaving that screen. The navigation function stores up to 100 waypoints for favorite fishing spots or race starting points and can guide a course to any of them or to an AIS contact.

A built-in two-way 25W hailer and 20W RX hailer let the crew talk through an optional SP-37 speaker horn or simply listen to radio traffic and foghorn patterns from the deck, and the RS-M500 app lets up to three smart devices act as a wireless mic, intercom, or remote control over the radio's own WLAN. IP68 waterproofing, rated to a full meter for 60 minutes, Active Noise Cancelling, and the AquaQuake speaker-clearing function round out a radio built to keep working in genuinely wet conditions.
