Description
The Icom IC-M410BB is a black box VHF built to put full DSC-capable marine radio control at the helm without giving up dash space to the radio body itself. A CommandMic remote control handles every function including DSC, while the actual RF unit tucks out of sight, up to 60 feet from the mic when run through two OPC-1541 extension cables.
Because it's built on a black-box architecture, a second CommandMic can be added as a second station, giving the crew communication between the cockpit and another point on the boat, along with one-to-all or one-to-one intercom calls between the two stations.
A DSC button on the back of every CommandMic sends a distress alert carrying the vessel's MMSI and GPS position the instant it's triggered, backed by an internal GPS receiver and NMEA 2000/NMEA 0183-HS connectivity that shares AIS, GPS, DSC, and channel data with a chartplotter or other equipment on the network. A built-in 15-watt amplifier drives an external hailer speaker for one-way RX hailer broadcasts and foghorn playback, and Active Noise Cancelling strips background wind and engine noise out of both transmitted and received audio.
- 25W output power, IPX7 waterproof rated
- Supports up to 2 CommandMic remote stations
