A 2400mAh Li-ion battery runs for over 17 hours on a charge in typical use, and the radio ships with a sit-in rapid charger to keep it topped off between flights. The compact, waterproof body is built for one-handed operation on the flight line, as a cockpit backup, or for ground crew use, and it's rated to IP67/54 and MIL-STD-810-G for genuine outdoor durability rather than just fair-weather use.

Built-in Bluetooth adds hands-free operation with a compatible headset, and a 1500mW speaker keeps transmissions clear and audible even in a noisy hangar or on an active ramp.
