The GROCO ARG-2000 Raw Water Strainer is the larger 2 in version of the ARG design, giving higher-diameter raw-water systems a serviceable debris basket ahead of pumps, heat exchangers, generators, engines, or air-conditioning equipment.

Its molded sight glass allows the plastic basket to be checked visually while the strainer remains assembled. When service is needed, the non-metallic basket can be removed for cleaning, while O-ring-sealed joining surfaces and bonding provisions support the marine installation.

The 2 in port size should be matched to the actual hose or pipe system and required flow. Leave enough space around the strainer to open it, remove the basket, inspect seals, and restore the raw-water circuit without obstructing nearby equipment.
