GROCO ARG-1000 1-Inch Raw Water Strainer, Plastic Basket

The GROCO ARG-1000 Raw Water Strainer uses 1 in connections and a removable plastic basket to catch debris before it reaches downstream pumps, engines, generators, or air-conditioning equipment. The smaller port size makes this model suited to compatible systems with a lower plumbing diameter than the ARG-2000.

A one-piece molded sight glass gives the operator a direct view of the basket so debris buildup can be checked without opening the strainer. O-ring-sealed joining surfaces, bonding provisions, and service-oriented mounting help support repeated inspection and cleaning.

Confirm thread type, flow requirement, mounting orientation, bonding arrangement, and service clearance before installation. The basket and sight glass should remain accessible so collected weeds, shells, and other debris can be removed before they restrict raw-water flow.

• Visible basket area makes routine inspection faster
• Removable non-metallic basket supports repeated cleaning
• Serviceable construction is designed for ongoing raw-water maintenance
• Sealed joining surfaces help control leakage when assembled correctly
