The ESEE Khaki MOLLE Back is a sheath attachment made for ESEE Model 5, Model 6, and Laser Strike sheath systems. The upper section includes an adjustable handle-retention strap along with a flap that can pass over the knife pommel. That flap can be tightened with the integrated paracord and cord lock to add a second point of retention around the knife handle.

Both the upper and lower portions of the MOLLE back incorporate belt loops and MOLLE straps, giving the attachment multiple mounting points on compatible gear. ESEE describes the pommel-flap arrangement as suitable for jump-safe retention when secured correctly. The attachment is made from khaki nylon in the United States and supplied bulk packed.
