Egis Triple XD NMEA 2000 Relay/ACR/Relay, 12-Position

The Egis Triple XD NMEA 2000 Relay/ACR/Relay is a three-function switching module rated 500A continuous and 1600A cranking, in 12 positions.

Three functions in one module replaces two battery switches and an automatic charging relay as separate installations. That saves mounting space, cable between the components and the terminations at each end, which on a battery compartment already full of hardware is a real gain.

The bi-stable solenoid architecture draws almost no current in either steady state. A conventional relay holds its coil energized continuously, which on a boat left for weeks is a slow drain. A bi-stable design only draws current at the moment it changes position.

NMEA 2000 connectivity puts the switching state onto the boat's network rather than leaving it as isolated hardware.
