EGIS XD NMEA 2000 Dual Relay Module

The EGIS XD NMEA 2000 Dual Relay Module combines two high-current XD switching channels with NMEA 2000 control and monitoring. From a compatible network display, the system can control the switches, report switch status, and monitor battery voltage, while discrete analog inputs remain available when a hard-wired control path is preferred.

This relay/relay configuration is designed to reduce the number of separate high-current devices in a multi-battery system. The bi-stable solenoid design can reduce mounting space and product weight by 35 to 75 percent, and off-state current can be 90 to 95 percent lower than multi-device solutions. The system can share charging between batteries and isolate banks when no charging source is present, and optional link or cross-link busbars allow expansion to additional single, dual, or triple XD relays for two- or three-battery layouts.

Each switch position is rated for 500A continuous current and up to 1,600A cranking. The sealed IP67/IP6K9K housing uses high-temperature electronics, stainless cable studs, and large 1/4-20 or M6 mounting holes. Front manual controls provide a local override, and dip-switch programming gives OEMs and installers flexibility to tailor relay behavior.
